Staff excellant - very clean and tidy - our stay was very pleasant and enjoyable will certainely be using this hotel again !
The staff were friendly and helpful. Bar food was excellent quality and reasonably priced.
Hotel was probably lovely in its day but now has feeling of being neglected (eg. Hooks hanging off walls; stained carpets; discoloured grouting on tiles; shower head broken).
Location of Hotel and good parking - Excellent Breakfast
No complaints - all staff were very helpfull.
The pool is ideal for small children learning to swim.
The decor in the rooms is a bit dated & could do with a facelift aswell as the furniture. I would prefer if the breakfast was buffet style with a more varied selection & again the decor needs to be addressed, apart from the lobby area everywhere else needs repainted.
The hotel is very beautiful and the room was pretty big, with a very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. I also like the spa very much. The staff has been always very nice and kind to us.
I believe the lights in the room should be brighter - there was no chance to make them stronger. Breakfast was ok but it didn't offer too many alternative options to the traditional irish way. When going to the spa, it would be nice if the mandatory swimming cap would be provided for free, instead of charging the customer.
We were on the proverbial flying visit and we were pleased with the facilities, our room was clean and spacious with heavy curtains to block out early morning sunshine. Tea and coffee was available ensuite. Reception was very friendly and obliging. The restaurants and bar had a warm atmosphere and the grub was good and reasonably priced (for a hotel). We booked just 20 mins before check-in on a busy bank holiday weekend and everything went smoothly.
Just one small nibble, there was a bank of fans on the roof outside our room, it was a bit noisy but it did not interfere with our slumbers, we were jaded anyway. It reminded me of a cruise ship. It's also a bit far to walk to the town centre especially if it's raining.
Staff very helpful and friendly great food every thing very clean great 1st time stay at this hotel and would recommend to stay here.10/10.very good base for touring donegal
Not really with in walking distance of town although plenty of taxis if needed
The Entrance Hall was stunning, however the rooms did not live up to the same standard! The Bar food and entertainment was enjoyable.
We were extremely disappointed with the Hotel rooms, The Hotel website describes the rooms as' luxuriously furnished with modern comforts.' However they were far from that and extremely basic and dated-with a view of the Hotel ventilation system. When we viewed our disappointment with the Hotel staff we were told the Hotel rooms haven't been updated yet!!!!! The staff were not very helpful, and we had a very limited slot that we could eat in the restaurant. We toured the North of Ireland and had been looking forward to our stay in this Hotel however it proofed to be the most disappointing hotel of our stay.!
The Staff were extremely friendly and the rooms were clean and really warm. We ate in the bar and the food was lovely.
the food was excellent and the pool jacuzzi sauna and steam room all very good hotel was lovely and warm very happy wit weekend
The rooms were very comfortable. There was food served in the bar and the dining room. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Good night's sleep. Lovely swimming pool and facilities.
It was situated just off a very busy road.
The bathroom was a disgrace it was so dirty. I had to clean it before attempting to use the shower. The noise on the saturday night from the band was hard to stomach. I went for a relaxing time - not to hear a concert under me.
Good shower loads of tv channels rooms too warm lovely breakfast
Rooms too warm And windows open out all da way on da first floor onto a platform which resulted in someone urinating in the window into our room
We found the Clanree Hotel very pleasant and had very pleasant staff. The restaurant and food was first class and entertainment in bar at night was very enjoyable. We would highly recommend the hotel and will be definatly staying again.Very reasonable prices throughout the hotel.
Very comfortable hotel, great for families with kids of all agesbut also for couples or singles.
Good faciity, pool, steam room and sauna,
